If you are a musician, photographer, painter, graphic designer, hair designer, poet, engineer, web designer, flash developer, the devil, the Pope, an artist. You should see this film. I love seeing the process of great artist and the stories behind the magic of creation. Tom Dowd & The Language of Music, a documentry who was a 2005 Grammy nominee.

Ever since I started to really listen to music I have been fascinated with the sound. The way an album has the power to alter your mood through sound, the notes, the words, all coming together by who? A producer, a master architect.

The film has great stories surrounding legendary artist such as Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, the list goes on. The man worked with almost everyone. Tom Dowd is a legend and I am sorry I didn’t see this sooner.

Maybe you won’t appreciate it as I do, but none the less if you love music, you will smile.
