sigur rós @ the Greek Theater

Sigur Rós played the Greek Theater on October 3rd. Great show. This was my first time seeing them and I was totally impressed with their sound and their stage presence. Given that the music is fairly calm and meditative most of the time, they showed tremendous energy.
The whole time everyone was praying that it wouldn’t rain and it didn’t. It was not until the last song in their encore, as if it was cued to the final crescendo, it started to rain. Awesome!!!

I really wanted to go to this show! Dang it! It’s been crazy trying to get ready to get married and plan the trip to Germany. Argh.
Yeah well getting married is important.
It was a good show. I ended up going solo… was kind of nice. I don’t normally do that so it stretched my comfort zone.
